Hotel Amadeus in a perfect location
You will find the family hotel Amadeus in the pedestrian zone of Salzburg’s old town on the right. Everything worth seeing in the city is close by. The Linzer Gasse with its charming stores, cafés, bars and restaurants is right on the doorstep. Mirabell Palace, Getreidegasse, the cathedral and the festival halls are just a few minutes’ walk away.
For unloading, you can drive directly to the hotel entrance. After that, you won’t need your car, since everything is within walking distance, and you can safely park in a nearby garage
Hotel Amadeus is located at the entrance to the city center, where parking is naturally limited. But don’t worry—the Linzergasse Garage is nearby. Once parked, everything is easily accessible on foot thanks to the hotel's central location.
At the gateway to the Old Town: From here, you can explore Salzburg on foot – whether you're sightseeing, heading to a restaurant, or catching the next bus.

Our reception is open daily from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

What time can I check in?
Your room is available starting at 2:00 pm. If it’s ready earlier, we are happy to offer an early check-in. You can store your luggage with us at any time. If you arrive after 6:00 pm, please inform us in advance – we will leave your key in a key box. You will receive the code on the day of arrival.
Until when do I have to check out?
Check-out is by 11:00 am. A later check-out is possible depending on availability and may incur additional costs. Please contact our front office team for this.

Our rooms do not have mini bars. Instead, we offer an honesty bar in our Amadeus Lounge, where you can help yourself at any time. You can enjoy the drinks in the lounge, your room, or on one of our beautiful sun terraces. Coffee and tea are available free of charge at all times. Additionally, we offer complimentary cake daily from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Yes, dogs are welcome. The fee is €24 per day.

We do not have our own restaurant, but there are many restaurants nearby. Our reception team is happy to assist you. Coffee and tea are available free of charge on the ground floor at all times. Our honesty bar also offers additional drinks.
Where is the hotel located?
Our hotel is located directly on Linzer Gasse pedestrian street in the heart of the Old Town, allowing easy access to all major attractions on foot.
Where can I park if I arrive by car?
The nearest public parking garage is at Glockengasse 4a (Linzer Gasse parking garage), 500 meters away. The parking fee is €19.90 per 24 hours.
Option 1
(quick parking, about 5 minutes on foot): park directly at the Linzer Gasse parking garage and reach our hotel conveniently on foot.
Option 2
(direct access to the hotel for unloading): If you drive into the Old Town by car, you will need an access code for the bollard. Please contact our front office team to receive this. After unloading, you can park your vehicle at the Linzer Gasse parking garage. For further information, our front office team is at your disposal.
